Ok, it’s really more like impatiently waiting!
Up to this point your mom and I have kept it cool by outward appearances, but we’ve certainly been feeling exactly as your Tio Mauro and Tia Seidy have been. Only difference is, they couldn’t contain their eagerness and they let it be known!

Tick Tock, Tick Tock
Well chiquito, the countdown has officially begun! As of today you are now considered to be full term, so it means that you’ll pay us the visit we’ve been eagerly expecting any day now.
You are projected to arrive on the 24th of March, however your mom and I have a feeling it will be a lot sooner than that. One to two weeks from now is when we expect to meet you in person.

Shower Aftermath!
There was a great turnout to the baby shower, but even with 50+ people RSVP’ing and more than forty actually showing up, I could not fathom that this many gifts would be imparted on your mom!
When the gifts arrived home, it literally took your Tio Mauro, Rosalyn and me several trips to haul them all in.

We had the opportunity to see you through an ultrasound for the last time today. Based on talking to other people, we’ve been extremely lucky to have been able to see you as many times as we have. Next time we see those chubby cheeks will be in person on the day you decide to make your grand entrance…er, or is that exit?

Actually, I do need to jump in the shower right now since I just got back from getting my weekly haircut, but this is what I’m really referring to; the invite to your baby shower.
Certainly you can’t wait to see all the gifts bestowed upon you. Ok, I admit, I too am looking forward to seeing all the spoils we get for you.
Shoe Game...
Your tio Mauro is jealous of your small but rapidly expanding shoe collection. He’s a sneaker head who obviously appreciates shoes; and now also appreciates that he has a worthy competitor in the making. An absurdly stylish competitor in the making!

Zzzz...
It’s 1:33AM right now. I’m sitting alone in the living room sparingly and simultaneously watching TV and videos on Vevo as well as writing this post. A few minutes ago your mommy was sleeping besides me but awoke to a cramp on her leg. Recently she’s been getting those with some frequency. Pobrecita!

We started your baby shower registry today and managed to get 27 items scanned. More trips to Babies R Us are in our future. This is the first of countless to come.
